Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a wonderful game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the casino, unlike almost all other poker games that players bet with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not need to worry about other, more experienced people winning their cash.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
