Ah, the steam. If a poker enthusiast claims never to have stared faced down the barrel of an approaching steam – they’re either telling a lie or they haven’t been gambling for a long time. This does not infer of course that every player has been on steam in the past, some people have awesome willpower and take their losses as a loss and leave it at that. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you suffer a huge hit in a No Limits game and your stack is at one hundred and twenty dollars. You’ve squandered eighty dollars in a round where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and enjoyed a 10 – 1 advantage. And that guy!
