Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in an awesome game for beginning level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the croupier, unlike most other poker games that players compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players don’t have to fret about any other, more advanced players winning their $$$$.

It’s also much simpler to gamble on for an extended time with just a small amount of cash since, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the casino receives seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
