Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in a wonderful game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the croupier, not like most other poker games that players wager against other players. By playing against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about other, more advanced gamblers winning their mulla.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the casino receives 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
