Net High Stakes Poker- Who is Gus Hansen?

Gus Hansen enjoyed an amazing year on the WPT where he was the only one to achieve closing game in three of the tournaments. Gus Hansen has appeared on High Stakes Poker on The Game Show Network where he paid $400, 000 to play. You might remember one of the biggest pots in high stakes poker history competing against Daniel Negreanu. He won a massive pot with 4 of a kind against Negreanu’s full house. Gus has made many tv poker appearances and is thought to be one of the strongest bettors in the world. While gambling on web poker, another side of Hansen has appeared. Gus frequently participates in the 200/400 No Limit maximum buy-in of $40, 000. Hansen frequently buys in for the minimum of Sixteen Thousand dollars and gambles very weak. He waits for a decent hand and then goes all in. I believe Hansen is an amazing poker player but not even close to the familiar players at 200/400NL. Unless he is penniless, he has no reason to sit at the table with the minimum buy-in.

Buying in for the min takes a majority of the ability out of deep stack poker. Hansen is presumed to be 1 of the best poker players anywhere in the world but he can’t buy in for the full dollar value. I believe television can skew our perception of the real world sometimes. The greatest players anywhere in the world might just be players you have will not have heard about. Gus can be found playing net poker on Full Tilt. He usually plays in high stakes omaha/8 and texas hold’em. Gus Hansen has shown himself as a competition player. Can he use his abilities in cash rounds?

Wager on Net Poker

The past couple of years has been great for web poker. Back when the amateur Chris Moneymaker came in first in the 2003 WSOP championship, every poker player has been going after a similar prize. Millions and Millions of dollars are available every day gambling this simple card game. Many people see placed poker as their #1 hobby. Why should you enjoy internet poker? Internet poker is close to most other poker games you could have gambled on.

Each time you sit down to wager on poker, there are always brand-new tricks to become versed in. Like golf, the player who makes the least total amount of errors will win in the long run. Poker is particularly close to video games that areout. In the early parts of poker, the other players could be extremely weak. As you go through the levels, you will face tougher competition. Competing with tougher players usually will force you to become greater if you intend to go on playing poker. If you give up all your assets at the bigger cap, you will need to start at the 1st level.
